I appreciate it. Becoming a Gold Star family member that's both an honor but also a tremendous loss, most people are never going to fully understand what you've

been through. Can you just tell us what that experience is like?

Becoming a Gold Star family is not a group that anybody chooses to be a part of. But unfortunately,

with all the wars that go on, it's bound to happen and there's bound to be gold star families out there.

I take it as a responsibility to have to tell my son's story and try to get the government and the people that are in charge of our men and women in the military
