Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to another edition of the gold standard as this 20 2025 season is really flying by.

Of course, I say that every year.

It seems to go by so fast, but here we are.

We've already completed six weeks of SEC play.

Tigers are 34 and 8 overall, 12 and 6 in the SEC,

right in the thick of the SEC race and the race for the regional and super regional bid.

So such an exciting time of the year.

And I'm joined again by my son, Will Frankis.

Will, just your thoughts as we get back here at home after an extended road trip,

played Alabama at home over the weekend, got a series victory,

and looking forward to another big one this weekend. Well, I think my main takeaway, so we haven't talked,

we haven't recorded since before the Oklahoma series. So we've seen Oklahoma, Auburn,

and then Alabama this past week. My main takeaway is the SEC is as advertised.

Oh, yes.

It is a, I think even more so than last year, it's just every team is, I don't want, maybe

not elite, but a really, really, really good baseball team, right?

And we saw that, right?

Against Auburn, obviously, would, you know, we got swept, right? That wasn't great, obviously. I think we performed well, but just Auburn was the better team. Does that mean our season's over? Absolutely not. But I guess my point is it reminds me a lot of this past year in basketball where, you know, a team that you'd look at their SC record and you're like, oh, that sucks. Well, not really because they're playing some of the best teams in the country, right? So I think a great example is Texas A&M. They started off really, really poor in the SEC. I think they were 1 and 8 at a point. They were 1 and 8 through the first nine games. Right. And now they're cruising, right?

They're eight and ten right now.

Yes.

And they beat Tennessee, the one in the series against Tennessee.

And who we are taking on this weekend and who will also be taking on A&M.
