| 0:12.4 | This is actually still Easter Monday, so many of the markets around the world were closed |
| 0:18.2 | today, not so in the United States. |
| 0:20.3 | We had a normal trading day today. |
| 0:23.4 | And the star of the day again is gold. |
| 0:27.6 | Gold was shining brightly on Thursday before we had the Good Friday holiday. |
| 0:33.4 | And once again, gold started off strong and finished even stronger. |
| 0:37.8 | We made a new seven plus year high today. |
| 0:40.9 | Cash gold settled around $17, $16. |
| 0:44.9 | And now in some about $30 we were about $15 higher, I think, in today around $17.30. |
| 0:52.6 | futures prices were even higher than that. |
| 0:54.8 | I mean, they may be at an eight year high, not really sure. |
| 0:57.8 | There's been a big premium recently in the futures market now over the spot market. |
| 1:03.8 | But we are going much, much higher in the price of gold. |
| 1:08.4 | Anybody who thinks now, gold has had a big run, gold's kind of expensive at over $17.00. |
| 1:14.2 | I mean, gold is still one of the best bargains out there, although probably the only bargain |
| 1:19.0 | that's better is the bargain in silver. |
| 1:21.6 | So there's a real bargain basement going on over there. |
| 1:25.0 | But monetary metals, gold and silver are probably cheaper than they've ever been if you |
| 1:31.9 | understand the fundamentals. |
| 1:33.7 | Because remember, I mean, gold prices were higher than this in 2011. |
