time to waste. Before we talk about today's market performance and run down those show topics, let's tackle this caller question now.

Hi, I'm clear today about ticker symbol AGM, your whole agricultural mortgage company.

I was looking to get some financial exposure that's not necessarily banks and thought this might be a good

little bit of agriculture exposure as well wondering if you thought if it was a good price to

get some shares thank you very much have a great day bye ticker agm is federal agricultural

mortgage corporation it is a washington d D.C. based government-sponsored enterprise

where GSE, the secondary market for agricultural real estate and rural infrastructure loans,

purchases and guarantee farm mortgages, USDA loans, rural utility, cooperative bonds,

renewable energy, and broadband loans as well.

It's essentially Fannie Mae, but for American farmland financing.

Now, they recently reported earnings on May 5th.

They saw a beat by about 6.76% on earnings per share, beat and then missed by about 110 million, or sorry, rather missed by 1.2% on revenue year over year. Despite of that, stock rose 4.9

1% hours after the print. So why was that? Well, they had a record of business volume,

$34.8 billion. Their core earnings was $52 million, return on equity, rose to about 17%

for this name in the quarter. And so diving in deeper than just top line numbers, things

looked a bit better. And, you know, it's also
