it was it was a painful defeat.

The Chelsea game was horrible for very different reasons.

But last night at least, kind of came away from the game,

feeling very proud of the team's effort.

Yeah, for about 40 minutes I guess, the United were outstanding, weren't they?

Just the vibrancy, the youthfulness of the team obviously the attacking intent, the

rousing old Trafford atmosphere, all of that.

But like it was going to be one those classic European Knights for United.

Obviously a brilliant start, stunning goal from Gibson.

Surprised he was in the team, you know, biggest surprise than

Rooney being in the team in many ways just everything was perfect and then

the third goal it went in and just all of a sudden sat back like that was enough

it's enough to invite a couple of Biomeunic attacks.

He nearly scored from one where Vandes are saved at the feet of Olic,

and then of course Olic beat Michael Karrick a rather weak tackle and scored their goal.

And that really gave him a lift and obviously the red card for

Raphael shortly into second half kind of killed the game for us.

It was a perfect storm.
