He didn't keep a player on the roster just because he drafted him, which we have seen him and other GMs do in the past. But he is no longer with the team. Yeah. So that's it. I mean, it was one of those, did he deserve to be on the roster? The answer was no. He just didn't perform. Like he did some good things in OTAs. Then he saw the lack of arm strength. It really showed up in training camp. There were a number of throws where, wow, it did come out well. You know, if he doesn't see it quickly and get out of his hands quickly because he's a timing-based quarterback, it just doesn't look right. And not only training camp, but the preseason, it just didn't go well for him. Now, we'll see if he's not claimed, you would think that at least they'd want him back in the practice squad work with them. But let's put it this way. |
