Inside the Birds, and we are going to finish off our contract series.

We're going to look at last episode we did the newcomers and their contracts on offense.

We're going to finish it out by going through some of the new players, new additions to the

Eagles and a resigning on defense.

And we'll get into what those contracts mean.

And also we'll talk about some of the things Nick Siriani said at the owner's meetings.

I had a flashback at him.

When Nick was asked a certain question about a certain player and his answer was sort of a flashback for me when I was down there.

This one was in Orlando one year.

And it was the year right, it was the offseason that they would end up

cutting Deshawn Jackson. And, you know, many of us were, well, not many of us, a couple of us,

were already front and center on that, myself included, that this was going to happen. And I remember

at the roundtable, I think it was Zach Berman, asked a carefully worded question

to Chip Kelly.

Oh, you know, do you want Deshaun Jackson on a team next year?

And the answer, Chip Cave, you know, if he wanted to shut down any speculation or rumor,

or, you know, if he wanted to lie, basically, he could have said Deshawn,

we're happy to have Deshaun back. He's a great player. He's going to be a big part of our

organization. But instead, Chip said something like, we like Deshaun, but we have to do what's

best for the team, which was like the automatic, okay, you've just confirmed what a couple

of us had already
