watching Stephen Assale do a demo on his first day in the painting studio, everything changed. Nicholas studied with Stephen Assale and Max Ginsburg and then

left to work in an illustration house in New York City. Eventually, Nicholas moved to

Columbia. For the last 15 years or so, he has based his life and work out of the capital city of Bogota.
