others, and what I suspect is the interpersonal glue that holds us together over lifetimes.

You know him from the New York Times and PBS News Hour. I know him because we went to the same high school and we've done a few events together.

Because he's been spending the past few years researching and editing a book called How to Know a Person, he is

overflowing with inspiration and very pragmatic examples of how we might come

together more easily.
