Looks like I blew his face off with that greeting, but it's been a minute or two.

We had some internet issues.

Now we're up and at them on the Zoom.

Patriots coaching staff has zoomed out to Las Vegas.

First things first, there are two teams remaining.

We watch four teams play this weekend.

What do those teams have that the New England Patriots don't?

Well, they don't have Patrick Mahomes, but there's only one team that has Patrick Mahomes.

And I would say we can talk about the discrepancy in talent at the quarterback position between the teams that made the final four, for instance, and the Patriots.

But to me, the more glaring issue is their past catching talent.

So include whatever positions you want in there. I like to just focus on receivers because it's easy.

The Patriots, as it stands right now, Tom, are set to spend the 26th highest amount on receivers in 2023 relative to the rest of the NFL.

The other teams that they are hovering around are generally speaking among the bottom of the barrel when it comes to past catching talent
