This is Catholic Stuff.

We are doing our 2020 pledge drive.

Currently we are up to 13 bottles of bourbon that have been pledged to us.

We are very grateful for our listener land, for the ways in which they support us both scene and unseen.

My ex-izzdy calls you guys the shakedown boys.

Every Ash Wednesday we do a purge and that's where you pray through everything you own and we say you start with nothing and add only what you need.

And then you invite the brothers in and it's a beautiful thing.

We will go to every guy's place and we'll walk through everything they own and the idea is to be purging, to be light, and to continue to try and live poverty and simplicity of life.

And this is something that everybody can do.

I don't think you just have to be purged.

Even a K-Mom.

Even religious.

Back room in the basement.

Of those dishes that you've been promising me for four years.
