And today I'm really excited to record this episode for you guys.

Today's topic is one that I was recently asked while I was on live on Instagram, and I felt like it would be great to do a video on this question.

So someone asks me how do you know God's voice over your conscience?

Like how do you know if it's him speaking or if it's you speaking to yourself? So today I just wanted to do a quick video and let you guys know like three tips that I have on how you can decipher whether it's God voice or if it's your voice just talking

to yourself in your head. So go ahead and grab your journals while I dive into what

I have for you today. So the first way for you to know whether it's God's voice or your conscience or your own voice

is for you to compare it.

And what I mean by compare it is compare what you know about yourself.

So the example that I gave, the young lady that asked me on live, I said to her, an example

would be if you were in a situation to where someone made you mad or made you upset and you curse them out.

Your self, your conscience, your flesh would normally tell you, oh you forgot one thing,

you should have said this.

And then it's like, dang, I probably need to text them again or I need to call them back because I need to add on this.

Whereas if it's God speaking to you it would say

apologize, humble yourself, be kind, be gentle.

So when you're trying to figure out whether it's you speaking to yourself or whether you're hearing from God,

always compare what's being said and compare it against the word of God.

You, when you read the word of God, you learn God's characteristics.

You begin to learn who he is and how he moves and how he speaks.
