It has a priestess of justice, a delinquent demigod, black marketeers fencing divine relics,

and nymphs who will kick the spit out of you.

This is a story I think you're going to absolutely love.

I know I say that every time, but I mean it every time. If you're a fan of mythological stories, you know that gods make everything more complicated.

And no one knows that better than Iris Tharo, a mortal investigator for the goddess of justice.

Murder is usually a human crime, but when the body of a young woman, who's been transformed into a bird,

is found on the altar of the wind god's temple, it might not be that cut and dry.

Iris's search for the truth is met at every turn by suspicion and mistrust.

As she pierces the dangerous web of pantheonic politics,

Iris soon realizes the murder of a human isn't the only mystery to be solved,

nor the only crime to be punished.

Stories with genre mashups are some of my favorite,

and pairing neo-noir with fantasy is just the chef's kiss.
