And as I look at her, this voice from inside me said, this is the woman you're going to marry.

And then I went into my dorm and I went up and grabbed my roommates by the back of the head,

and I pointed him to the girl out on the quad.

I said, see that girl out on the quad?

He said, yeah, I said, I'm going to marry her someday.

He said, what's her name?

I said, I don't know.

And we've been now married for 44 years.

This is touched by heaven. Everyday encounters with God. Those moments when heaven and earth collide and we see God.

We see his hand reaching out to us, attempting to get our attention, inviting us into a closer relationship.

I love this episode because Jim actually cares about God's opinion.

I mean, in the world's sense, percentage-wise, very few people do.

Around here, I certainly hope, here in the Touch by Heaven world,

we understand that his opinion actually does matter, does count, and it certainly does for Jim. Now, Jim stumbled upon the podcast a few weeks back

and realized that many of his experiences are not coincidence. They are what we call God incidents

or God winks or Touched by Heaven moments. Another thing I love about Jim's story is there's this
