Your scripture tonight, I love for you just to turn me to Romans chapter 11 and 12.

We're going to look at the end of chapter 11, the beginning of chapter 12.

The series we're going to be waiting into for a few weeks is called Unusual,

which is a little bit of an unusual title for a series I know.

But it's better than usual, isn't it?

We don't want usual and we don't want normal.

God is extraordinary and so we want to live lives that are unusual, unusual in the world.

Not unusual in the sense of who God is, but lives that look different in the world

and the reason for that is because we walk and live with an extraordinary God.

Say, we don't have some little bitty, you know, tiny little God.

We don't have some storybook God.

We have an extraordinary God of power, might, grace, and love.

And if we know Him and we say that He lives in us, then our lives are going to take on a sense

of extraordinary. It's not so that we can brag or become something, you know, better than someone

else, but we have an extraordinary God.

So our lives at some point should begin to look extraordinary and extraordinary in this world

will look unusual because we live in a very ordinary world.

Even the people who are trying to stick out and stand out start looking alike

and everything in life over time starts getting condensed and consolidated into

this is normal life and this is who and what you're supposed to be.

And God is like, look, I'm unlimited in every single way and I live in you.

So I want you to look different and live different in the world.
