Today, we are actually looking at a story within the Bible that displays the mercy of God. We are looking at what it means when God says

that He is merciful and gracious in Exodus 346. Now we're actually looking at accounts within the Bible

that we're all pretty familiar with. If you've grown up in church, that actually shows him walking this

out at the beginning of time. So I'm really excited about this. And one of the biggest things that

really I love and I'm learning in real time about the Bible is the fact that sometimes the Bible

doesn't tell you, but it always shows you.

Meaning like the Bible is written in a way where like when we think about the Old

Testament and God interacting with his people, the people of Israel, in different

moments, it's not going to explicitly say, okay, in this moment God was showing his mercy,

or this was him displaying grace, or God was walking in forgiveness.

But whenever he spares them of judgment or punishment or what they may have deserved,

we can see that that is him actually showing us that this is who he is.

And it's one of those principles that we hear all the time.

We walk out in our own life when it comes to. It's not about what you say, but about what you do.

And not too long ago, I was in an interesting situation within a relationship, and there was a moment where like my intentions for

someone wasn't aligning with my actions with them and I was writing down in my journal in terms of

just challenging myself and looking back on how I got to this point it's a fact that

God's actions are never

independent from his intentions. They're always aligned. And so even when his actions about what he

may take away from our life or what he may move or shift, it may not necessarily make sense
