And on today's edition of the Word for today, Pastor Chuck continues his message, God, the author and finisher, as we pick up in Philippians chapter 1, verse 4.

And now with today's study, here's's pastor chuck always in every prayer of mind

for you all making request with joy so he's thanking god praying for them always but there's always a

certain joyfulness involved with it because of the work that God is doing there.

And he is thanking God for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now.

Now that fellowship idea of fellowship, the cohenanea, is the oneness in the gospel,

and no doubt also in this case refers to the support that they had given to Paul

through the years. As he was writing to the Galatians, he said that they that are taught

in the word ought to communicate unto them that teach in all good things.

So the church in Philippi had been faithfully supporting Paul through the years.

And so there was that oneness, the sharing.

And you remember in the early church, if anyone had anything, they sold it, and they brought it and laid it at the Apostles' feet.

And they had all things in Koinania.

This is the same Greek word here.
