I've been recently laid off and I made a journal entry at beginning.

Oh, here we go again.

I've been laid off.

But you had other plans for me, oh God.

That is so awesome.

At first I thought, oh no, woe was me.

I had asked you to change my life, but I never expected it to again include job loss,

unemployment, job search with all of the emotions that it entailed and regret.

For not performing well enough, for the loss of friendships formed or for fear

doubt morey coming in that I would never find another job but because of Michael

Yousuf's ministry I had put a quote in him how he has helped me it says in Hebrews 13, never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.

In Isaiah 5811, it says, the Lord will guide you always.

He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.

You will be like a well-watered garden in a spring whose waters never fail.

As Michael Yusuf said in his journal, apart from Christ, it doesn't matter how rich, powerful,

or socially connected you are.

Without Jesus, the wine of life will run out.

I needed to remember that for my God,

nothing is impossible. Water to wine, five loaves and two fish, to feed five thousand. What is another job to him, especially when God has my life in his hands. So even after the loss of my job and the greater loss of my beloved kitty,

I turn to him with all my heart and say,

Oh, God, use me.

Keep me in joy, peace, and happy anticipation over what the next chapter of my life will be.
