God’s justice does not demand that he punish us for our sins immediately. His kindness through Jesus Christ leads him to forbear and be patient with us.

In Romans Chapter 2, 1 to 5,

Therefore you are without excuse every man of you who passes judgment,

for in that you judge another, you condemn yourself.

For you who judge practice the same things.

And we know that the judgment of God rightly falls on those who practice such things.

And as I pondered why I would do this, I came up with more questions than answers, but the question would be what's so special about this letter in the Bible and then the bigger questions what's so special about the Bible?

That one would even devote so much energy and time week in and week out to trying to base one's life on the Bible.

So as a kind of transitional introduction from verses 1 to 32 of chapter 1 into chapter 2,
