We live in the day of the 24-hour news cycle, and most of what we hear is bad news.

With the steady stream of evil reports, it is easy to forget that God has provided good news in a bad world,

and that good news is the gospel of Jesus Christ.

the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, and how that good news not only encourages us as believers, but is also the message this unbelieving

Life in so many ways is about priorities. What really matters, what matters a little bit, and what doesn't matter at all.

And frankly, the longer you live, the more God clarifies some of that, doesn't it?

And you start realizing that you've got to get your priorities properly placed.

I don't know of anything that brings greater clarity to life than the gospel.

And I'm going to tell you why, because the gospel message is God's priority.

That has been one of the great revelations for me as a Christian, as a servant of
