Do you want to be able to smile at death? Listen to Adrian Rogers. Now, do you want to

smile at death? Do you want to practice the presence of God in the time of death? There's no possible

way you can do it without faith. And what is faith? Faith is getting a word from God and believing it.

Faith is standing on the promises of God.

Well, you say, how come Joseph had so much faith and I have so little?

Well, Joseph, it soaked his soul in the word of God.

Today we're going to continue our series practicing the presence of God by looking at the necessity of our faith every hour, but especially in the hour of death.

As acclaimed pastor and Bible teacher Adrian Rogers reminds us today,

faith is not positive thinking or hoping for the best. Faith is getting in the word of God and believing it.

Joseph's faith in God is what caused him to smile at death.

How did God use Joseph even in his Hour of Death to bring glory to Himself?

conclusion to God's presence in the hour of death.

May I tell you something, you are not ready to live until you're no longer afraid to die. You're not ready to live.

Until you're no longer afraid to die.

And Jesus came to deliver you from that bondage of fear. A child of God can smile at death.

Joseph said unto his brethren I died and God will surely visit you and bring you out

of this land unto the land which he swear to Abraham,

to Isaac and to Jacob. That is God's going to take you out of Egypt and God's going to bring you
