0:45.8	Both President George H.W. Bush and his son, President George W. Bush, stood toe to toe in the
0:51.5	Middle East with Saddam Hussein and the Taliban.
0:55.0	Or go back to World War II where FDR and Churchill opposed Hitler.
1:00.0	World leaders demonstrate their power through military wars economic plans and social policy.
1:05.0	In the United States, presidents have a lot of power, but not unlimited power like leaders in history.
1:11.0	Think back to Pharaoh. He had the power to enslave the Israelites.
1:16.1	Or think of Nebuchnezzar who ordered everyone to bow down to a golden image of himself.
1:21.7	Or think of the Persian king, King Darius, who demanded that no
1:25.6	one pray to any God but to Him.
1:28.6	When you look through history, it's easy to conclude that normal people like you and me are at the mercy of kings and
1:34.9	presidents and rulers and generals and CEOs. They are the ones with all the power.
1:40.7	So with that in mind, consider Proverbs 21. It says the King's heart is like a
1:47.0	stream of water directed by the Lord. He guides it wherever he pleases.
