I thought they did a tremendous job.

I think it also gave us a perspective that many of us didn't really fully

understand about Israel and about how Israel relates to us that we've been grafted in.

Now this week we're going to talk about God's plan for you.

And we're going to begin in this series and talk about the church and about rebuilding the church,

how we're part of the church and how that relates to us.

Let me tell you a couple couple things about Nehemiah.

Nehemiah was a cupbearer for the key and this is a very trusted place of

responsibility. Many people think that the cupbearer actually tasted the line and if the cupbearer lived, you know, then the line had not been poisoned.

That's got a little bit of truth to it, but it wasn't actually Nehemiah.

It was someone that worked for him.

What his responsibility was, is the cupbearer was actually to keep the line safe and

to be able to say to the king, I have overseen this personally from the line cellar

to your mouth and I know that there's nothing that will hurt you. Many kings were poison that way.
