Mono Gonzalez here in studio with Don Perkins, and we're going to be talking about prophecy, which certainly would be no surprise, but we're going to kind of get down to the nuts and bolts of some of the things that you might see in church or you might see some from friends or others. And really the idea is should we even study prophecy at all? Why even do this? I mean, does it really matter? Is it part of the gospel? And we're going to get to some of those details. But I also want to share before we get started some exciting things that are happening here at the ministry. We have a conference coming up this October in Norman, Oklahoma. It's going to be a great time. Don, you're going to be there. Yeah. It's been an honor, a privilege. down. You know, I'm 48 years old. So, you know, and you tell me that you've been teaching

prophecy for 41 years. Yes. So that reminds me, it kind of gives me some humility over here

about the whole thing. So for those in our audience, it might not know you, kind of give

us a little history about what you've been doing, how the Lord called you, where they can find

out about your ministry? Yeah, well, we've been, again, as you shared, we've been teaching now

for 41 years, teaching Bible prophecy. Our ministry is called According to Prophecy Ministries.

And the Lord called me in this area of ministry.

It's very unusual that I'm actually teaching Bible prophecy

because I was taught all my life growing up in church

that if you would study prophecy

on the book of Revelation, you could lose your mind.

I was literally taught that.

And when the Lord saved me in my young adult life, I was afraid of the book of revelation.

And lo and behold, the Lord called me into this area of ministry.

You know, I've been teaching now Bible college level, churches Bible conferences wherever the Lord

opens a door to just proclaim his word and what I try to do is make it simple
