Pureflex was a mild-mannered, moderately successful operation,

churning out dependable family content direct to video,

filmed such as Jerusalem Countdown, the Book of Ruth, the Book of Esther, the Book of Daniel,

and Sarah's Choice. And yes, Sarah's Choice is about what you think it's about.

But none of these made a dent in the culture and more importantly made a dent monetarily

in the way the company had hoped until 2014. God's not dead while technically based on an

apologetics book by the same name is also one of the first films ever adapted from a made-up story

and an email chain your racist uncle sent you. With its overreaching ambitions and Byzantine

connections between characters, the film shares much DNA with 2005's Crash.

Bunsev and Alp Touch Millage, White Guy making the state of the union on race relations in the

country. It's an Alp Touch Millage White Guy painting American campus culture with a brush

as broad as his caricatures of evil professors and liberal bloggers and his paint, the blood of Atheists.

Or the course of the two hours of the film, the film plays out like a chick-tracked,

inflected conservative fever dream of what happens when good Christian boys take a stand against

the system. Thank God, Josh Weedon didn't have to protest by kneeling. And this bankable ideology

attracted an all-star cast of who's that and oh yeah, including the guy who used to play Hercules,

the guy who used to play Superman, the newsboys, and Willie Robertson from Duck Dynastine.
