Hey friends, welcome back to the morning mindset. When is the last time you were late for work

or an important appointment or something that you just had to be there on time and yet you just

didn't make it. That issue of time is a real issue for us as human beings. We can't always

control the things that dictate whether we make it someplace at the time we're supposed to or not.

But God, God is entirely different than that. We're going to be looking at that today as we look

at 2 Peter chapter 3 verses 8 through 9 on the morning

mindset this is where we get our minds aligned with the truth of god's word for this day friends

thank you for being along i want to thank all those from various countries around the world

people that listen to the morning mindset in places like Madagascar and Canada

and North Korea. Thank you so much for listening to the morning mindset, friends. If you know someone

Okay, friends, before we dig into 2nd Peter 3, I ask you to pray with me that we will have

our minds oriented toward God's Holy Spirit as He teaches.

Our Lord and our God give us ears to hear and hearts that are open.

Enable us to hear the Word of God today and to recognize clearly what it is saying to us

and how we are to think in Jesus' name. Amen.

Okay, 2. Peter 3, verses 8 or 9, Peter has been talking about

scoffers. And in particular, he's brought up an example of people who say, where is the promise

of his coming? He's not returning like he said he was, and Peter's answering that objection.

And here in verse 8, he begins answering through another means.

He says, but do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord, one day is as a thousand
