Good morning, my friends, and welcome back to The Morning Mindset.

Are you ready to get your mind aligned with the truth of God?

Think about it.

That is one of the most important things that we do every single day, because we kind

of wake up in a default mode, where our minds just click into self-mode.

We start thinking about our desires, our needs, our ambitions, and our pains and hurts and

troubles.

The Morning Mindset is one opportunity that we all have to intentionally engage our minds

with the truth of God so that we can begin thinking his thoughts and align them with

what he wants us to do.

Friends today, we are wrapping up John chapter 17, and I can't think of a better way to

finish out this series than to hear a prayer from Jesus.

We are hearing the last words of his prayer that he prayed before he went to the cross.

And you'll notice here, Jesus' focus was entirely on other people, not on what he was

about to go through.

He prayed for his disciples, and he prayed for us.

These last paragraphs that we're reading today are his prayer for us.

And you'll hear it when he says, I do not ask for these only, meaning his 11 disciples,

but also for those who will believe in me through their word, friends, that is us.

He's praying for us.

And as he continues through the prayer in verse 24, where we're picking up, he says, Father,

I desire that they also whom you have given me may be with me where I am to see my glory
