I did not feel the kindness of the Lord in this new story that he was writing.

What I did feel was loneliness, disappointment, and sadness.

I worried that my children would never attach to me and would always only wish for their first mom.

I wish I'd had someone in my life at that time that could have said.

Lauren, your circumstances do not define God's kindness.

His word does.

Get your eyes off of your expectations and feelings and remember who he is.
