But Michael over there in Oklahoma City said, hey, if you're interviewing Dr. Shriner, I want to be there. So Michael, how you doing, bud? Yeah, absolutely. I'm doing, I'm doing well. Just got back. I was in New Mexico doing a conference on spiritual gifts and went really, really well.

It was exciting time.

I think it was really productive and edifying for the church there and for me too.

So yeah, I like to, I just love Tom Shriners writings.

Tom, love your work and your scholarship.

It's really great. And so excited to talk about this topic as well.

Maybe you could just tell us a little bit about yourself as well as this particular book that we're going to be discussing.

Yeah, well, I'm teaching at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

I think this is my 29th year there, and I've taught before that at Bethel and Azusa.

So I've been teaching seminary a long time.

I've been preaching pastor in our church in the past. I'm a lay elder now, married to Diane, which is probably the most important thing about me.

I have four kids and 12 grandkids, and one more on the way.
