Summary

In our third podcast looking at Jesus’ story of the prodigal son, we’re going to take time today to look at how quickly, how instantly God forgives us. May regret and fear over God’s judgement be washed away as we see an incredible picture of how quickly and easily God forgives our sins.

Our Scripture for today comes from Luke 15:20, and today's worship is You Came Running by All Shores Music.

First15 is a daily devotional written and recorded by Craig Denison. If you would like to learn more about the First15 app, books, blogs, videos and our other resources, please visit first15.org. Too often we allow the lack of grace and others to instill in us a belief that God will be

mad and slow to forgive us if we confess to him.

But the truth is that God is constantly aware of our sin,

and yet he longs for intimacy with us in every moment. You are never too dirty to be wrapped up in the

loving arms of your father. You are never too broken to be clothed with his

righteousness and honor.

2:14.7

You never step outside of being his fully loved and forgiven child.

2:20.5

If you will turn your heart toward him the instant that you sin you will discover a continual

wellspring of grace and love that never runs dry and never holds back. God is filled with grace and love for you all the time,
