1 Peter 1, please.

In our text here is verse 23.

1. Peter 1.23 says, being born again, anybody in here know what it means to be born again.

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible.

Did you know you were born again by a seed?

Your human body, your physical body is the result of a human seed.

It's a corruptible seed.

If there had been no human seed, you wouldn't have a body.

Well, your recreated spirit is born from a seed too.

But it's an incorruptible, other translations say, imperishable, can't decay, can't die, seed.

And that seed is what?

By the word of God which lives and abides forever. Keep reading the next couple of verses. For all flesh is as grass and all the glory of man as the flower

of grass. The grass withers. The flower thereof falls away.

This body is amazing.

We are fearfully and wonderfully made, but in its temporal condition, it is truly a flash in the pan.

And we really should not get so been out of shape and worked over it here because it really is

here today and gone tomorrow our body is just like a flower it grows it reaches its prime

it blooms then then it fades.

But the Lord has fixed it all through Jesus.

And one of these days, this mortal is going to put on immortal.

This corruptible is going to put on incorruptible, and we're going to physically be changed.

And then we'll have a body that matches our spirit, that cannot age, that cannot die.
