1:16.5	illuminated. It was used in many, many different ways. But one of the primary uses for oil in ancient

1:28.7	scripture and show you all of the anointings. They would use oil to anoint the sick,
1:34.0	to anoint lepers. They would use oil to anoint a new king. They used oil to anoint a priest or
1:41.7	to anoint a prophet. Now, this is very important because we're thinking today of the work of the Holy Spirit.
1:47.5	We're thinking today of spiritual realities.
1:51.1	And I want to show you that one of the beautiful symbols of the Holy Spirit in Scripture is oil.
