I'm so glad to be with you, so glad that you have joined us.

You know, I always look forward to being on with Susie and to chatting with her and getting to catch up.

But I also look forward to these opportunities to spend time with you when and to chatting with her and getting to catch up. But I also look

forward to these opportunities to spend time with you when she is away, when she's out of the

studio. You know, like Susie, she reminds us of this every day, but I love the chance to have

conversations with you that inspire us in our faith walk, that deepen our understanding of God's

word, and that heighten our awareness of his very real presence in our life., that deepen our understanding of God's Word, and that heighten our awareness

of his very real presence in our life. And we've got exactly that kind of conversation

on tap for you today. You know, I have been, I honestly have been looking forward to this conversation

ever since it got put on the calendar. And the reason for that is, and I've shared this with you

before on Susie's broadcast, but the issue of adoption is very, very near to my heart. It's dear to

the heart of my wife, Brooke, as well. And we have been foster parents to nine newborns over the last

two and a half years, and another one probably

soon on the way. But we're on our own adoption journey as well as we speak, and we're also in the

process of launching an effort to actually fund families who want to adopt from foster care.

So we're just dreaming of this day where there is no such thing in America

as a waiting list of adoption eligible foster children. It's a big dream. It's a dream that we're
