As we end our week on knowing God's heart for us, we're going to focus on the call to action

that God's heart doesn't just stop with us, but is meant to be carried through us into the lives

of those around us. When you are operating out of God's love daily, secure in his affections for you,

God can do miraculous things through you. Just imagine how God could use you to bless and

enrich the lives of others. The possibilities are endless. Welcome to the First 15 podcast.

Our scripture for today comes from 1 John 4, verse 7.

Scripture says,

Beloved, let us love one another,

for love is from God,

and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.

As wonderful and life-giving as it is

to access the heart of God for ourselves, having God's

heart isn't meant to stop with us.

His heart is meant to fill us, empower us, and transform us to live in such a way that

we are light in the darkness.

In Matthew 5, verses 14 through 16, Jesus said,

You are the light of the world.

A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.

Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket,

but on a stand,

and it gives light to all in the house.

In the same way, let your light shine before others so that they may see your good works
