| 0:36.2 | Peace be with you and a very blessed and happy Easter to everybody. Friends, what's Easter |
| 0:42.2 | all about? Let me start with this. In 1st century Judaism, so in the time of the New Testament, |

| 1:34.9 | influence of Greek philosophy, that the souls of the just went to live with God after the |
| 1:40.4 | demise of their bodies. Think of the book of Daniel here, the book of wisdom you have some |
| 1:45.2 | reference to this. Some it seemed even believe in a kind of reincarnation. Think of when |
| 1:51.3 | Jesus asked the disciples, who do people say that I am? And some of them say, well, you |
| 1:55.3 | know, Jeremiah or one of the prophets come back from the dead. There are all kinds of views |
| 2:01.4 | about what happened after we die. Here's what's particularly fascinating about the accounts |
| 2:08.0 | of Jesus' resurrection is that none of these familiar frameworks of understanding is invoked. |
