Amen and amen and good morning and welcome you can be seated glad you're here

those of you online we're glad that you're joining with us as well before we jump in though

i want to let you know that tuesday night is our prayer meeting and note especially those of you

online the start time of 7 p.m. not 7.30 so I'm going to begin with a very brief message

for real very brief message about what our prayers mean to God. It's actually going to be kind of springboard from our text today in Revelation.

But then afterwards, I'm really looking forward to sharing with you a miraculous praise report and answer to prayer. And then after that I want to share a prayer request

and then we're going to open it up to all church prayers. So I really hope they were able to join

with us 7 p.m. right here in the sanctuary. All right. Second service, we're in Revelation. We're making our trek

through the Bible, as you know, book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse. And we're

now in the last book of the Bible. By the way, this might be as good of a time as any, because

we're asked this question a lot. We did start in Matthew. I'm not going to tell you what year,

because it was like a lot of years ago. And we worked all the way through. However, I did not

do Mark, Luke, and John. I went right from Matthew to Acts. Why are you looking to me like that?

Because you got some splain on the do, right? Well, let me explain. At that point, we had just started the church.

I mean, the church was really small and I just sensed that we were at a place

in that season of the life of the church that we needed the book of Acts. And so I mentioned that to say this,

if we're still here, which I don't think we will be.

And we finished Revelation. I don't know when that will be. But we're going to circle back

and do Mark, Luke, and John. Do you feel better now? You didn't even know. I didn't even have

to say anything. Well, now you know. So we have made it all the way through absent Mark,

Luke and John. So, but we are in Revelation. And our text today, you see it there on the screen,
