In part one we looked at a couple of different types of people facing trouble.

So we have those who were lost and wandering in the wilderness, hungry, thirsty, exhausted. We have those who are in prison. Number three, we have those who are sick and afflicted.

Look at verse 17.

Some were fools through their sinful ways and because

of their iniquities suffered affliction. They loathed any kind of food and they

drew near to the gates of death.

Here we have a description of intense, debilitating affliction.

It may be physical, it may be mental, it may be emotional emotional for sure it is spiritual they can't eat

they're a death store and realize here these are not victims these wounds are caused by sinful, foolish choices. And people, we don't always

sin but I will say for sure that some sickness is the result of sin
