This is my granddaughter, my oldest of five granddaughters, Lily, and she was just

cuddling with me over there during worship, so I didn't want to quite leave her yet.

So I thought I'd bring her up here and preach with her.

But I was just getting a little emotional, nostalgic because she looked so much like Rachel did, my daughter when she was this age and it was just one of those moments

I'm just sitting there looking at her going, this is so crazy. I am so old. know it's just it it just hits you you go wow I've had a lot of life I've experienced

a lot of life and it's been good like beyond my dreams,

seriously beyond my dreams. I'll go back to mommy.

Just thinking about how big a deal it was to me when I was in college thinking, man, am I ever going to meet a woman that will stick with me? And am I ever going to find her and is it ever going to work you know because it's always like you kind of

miss this I just don't miss those years at all sorry if you're in those years

and then it happens and and it's it was unbelievable and it is to this day you know 30

something years later and going wow that's all I could hope for when I was younger and then you have a child, the first child and you're like, wow, I didn't know if this was ever going to happen and this is crazy and then you know and then we have seven of

them and it's like wow that's really cool and then to see them up here leading

worship and I'm going this is unreal every week just watching my kids leading me in worship that's just next level and the grandkids and and everything else and I think about all these things I had kind of dreamt of,

you know, but some it was even beyond what I had dreamt of.

And I'm looking at life and going,

God, what else do I want? You know when I was younger I thought okay maybe I can have

an impact on someone's life maybe one day I'll speak to a crowd of people and be able to share the gospel in front of a group.
