So today's going to be a great day.

We are in the third week of a message series called Dream Now, where we're asking God,

give us fresh dreams for our lives.

Give us fresh dreams for our church.

Today, I get the privilege of talking about God's dream for the church. I could not be more excited about this

message because I love the local church. The church is deep in the heart of God. The church is God's

bride. The Bible calls it Jesus. Bride calls it the body of Jesus. And God has been building

his church for the last 2,000 years here on planet Earth, and he invites

every single one of us to participate in his dream called the local church.

Now, today, my hope and my prayer is to put some fire and passion in you for God's church.

No matter where you are in your journey spiritually, there is an invitation from God

to be a part of his movement here

on planet Earth. And I think about the local church through my own journey. Now, I don't know

what your journey is. Maybe it's your first time in a church. Maybe you've been here for decades.

Everything in between. We all have a story about our interactions with the church. Some have

positive experiences. Some have positive experiences,

some have negative experiences. Mine have been wonderful. I remember being in middle school.

My parents had divorced. My dad was a single dad. He was raising us and he decided to take us

back to church. The church that he took us to, the adult service, if I'm honest, was really boring.
