0:20.4	We've prayed according to this in Son of Solomon already, the picture of belonging. She's saying, I belong to my beloved. He cares for me. He is for me. He is with me. He protects me. He provides for me. He guards me. I am my beloved. And his desire is for me.
0:41.0	He doesn't just guard, protect, help me, serve me because he has to. He desires me. He wants me.
0:49.4	Do you see the beauty of God's design for marriage there that a wife would feel wanted, deeply wanted by
0:58.9	her husband, and not just want, a kind of want that leads to him providing for her, him serving her,
1:07.5	him serving her, him caring for her, him protecting her. Oh, this is God's good design for marriage.
1:14.2	And it's intended to be a picture of the gospel, right? This is what I love about the book of
1:18.6	Song of Solomon. That is a physical picture of the enjoyment of marriage and a husband and
1:24.4	wife with each other that points us to a greater picture, the picture that God's designed from the very beginning of creation for marriage to show.
1:31.3	Get this. For everyone who's put your faith in Jesus, you're a part of the bride of Christ. He desires you.
1:38.3	Jesus desires you so much so that He will protect you. He will provide for you, he serves you, he leads you,
1:47.0	guides you, he does all these things for you. Why? Not because he has to, because he wants to. He desires you.
1:55.0	Just receive that, whether you're married or single, receive that if you've trusted in Jesus and you're part of his bride.
2:01.4	And then if you're married, reflect that in your marriage.
2:05.0	Even as we pray today, make the connection clear, you'll see it as we pray for the people
2:09.8	of Afghanistan, specifically the unreached there.
2:12.7	God, we praise you for your good design for marriage.
2:16.0	And for this picture we see in Song of Solomon chapter 7, verse 10 of desire and belonging
