0:29.8	will make clear that there is no world power apart from him, that all the mightiest,
0:39.2	most powerful, most wealthy nations will one day be laid waste. This is the whole picture we see
0:48.8	in Revelation, specifically depicted in Babylon, with all its might and all its power, all its wealth,
0:56.3	all its pleasures, all its possessions will one day. In an instant, you read Revelation,
1:02.9	those final chapters in a single hour, it's laid waste. All that's been built up over centuries,
1:11.2	just like that is laid waste. So God help us to see world powers today in proper perspective.
1:21.0	God help us to see the United States of America in proper perspective. Help us to see Russia and
1:29.9	India and North and South Korea and the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia and Iran and Qatar
1:39.1	and Brazil. And we could go on and on and list every country in the world, knowing that one day,
1:47.6	they will all be laid waste before you and you will be shown as supreme over them all.
1:55.9	So God help us not to hope in the power of this world, the possessions and the pleasures of
2:02.4	this world in the wealth of this world. God help us to spend the wealth and pleasures and
2:08.9	possessions you've given us for the spread of your glory in the world. Among all the nations,
2:15.3	as we pray most every day for unreached people groups on this podcast, God, to hear our prayers
2:21.6	and use our lives for the spread of the gospel to all the peoples and all the nations of the world,
2:27.4	knowing that in the end, Jesus alone will stand as supreme overall. So God, give us proper
2:35.0	perspective on everything we see going around us in the world, on everything we see going on
2:41.1	around us in the world. Help us to trust in you continually and firmly. Keep us from putting
