Summary

In today’s devotional, we’re continuing our series of taking hold of God’s promises by looking at his promise of strength. Every day I wake up, I’m reminded of my weakness. No human has ever lived a perfect day. But the goodness of this promise lies in that God promises his strength when we are weak. In his grace, you and I can live with the real, meaningful, and powerful strength of our God.

Our Scripture for today comes from Isaiah 41:10, and today's worship is Power Made Perfect by Covenant Worship feat. Nikki Moltz.

In today’s First15 Podcast, we want to offer a preview of a new Guided Prayer that our friend Peyton Garland wrote, titled, “Forgiven to Forgive.” Peyton shares her struggle to forgive others, tallying their wrongs, yet she is reminded that forgiveness is an undeserved gift we receive from God each day. Her prayer encourages us to put aside scorecards and allow a heart of thanksgiving and forgiveness to deepen our intimacy with God and others.
