You are a hiding place for me.

You preserve me from trouble.

You surround me with shouts of deliverance.

Our God who delivered Daniel from the clutches of ferocious lions,

David from countless pursuers, Israel from the entire nation of Egypt,

and Lazarus from four days of death, promises to deliver us from whatever schemes the world

has set against us. 2 Samuel 22 verses 2 through 4 says,

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer.

My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,

my shield and the horn of my salvation,

my stronghold and my refuge,

my Savior, you save me from violence.
