So last week we took a moment and looked at that iconic moment where Jesus is born and Mary and Joseph are in the manger and you have

all the players in the scene with the angels and the shepherds and the magi.

You begin to realize that it's not the usual suspects that God brings together

when he steps into human history.

And if you're going to write the story of God and how God would somehow flip the script and instead of stand outside of history would now stand inside of it, which is

extraordinary all by itself. You wouldn't expect the next chapter to come the way it does.
