0:39.0	I'm a Christian, I'm a progressive Christian, and I think a lot about the church and all the things that are wrong with it,

1:03.0	I think if you take that to the next step, and I've been thinking about this lot lately,
1:08.0	if you take a step back and look at it, you could really have the same conversation about humanity,
1:15.0	and we've done such horrible things to each other, we continue to do horrible things to each other every day,
1:20.0	we're destroying this planet, all life on it, we know better, but we do it anyway.
1:26.0	So my question is, is the human race worth saving?
1:30.0	And if there are some power, like aliens or monsters or robots or God or whatever,
1:36.0	that was capable of wiping us out completely, and the same way that we've wiped out so many,
1:42.0	just like countless other species on this planet, would that be for the best?
1:47.0	Would the earth and the universe be better off if we weren't here anymore?
1:51.0	Because I gotta tell you, my answer to that question changes day to day,
1:57.0	and I'm curious what you think.
