This is episode 127, and you are listening to the very first episode in the new series on Kindled, Christianity and Culture. This series is going to take us

through the rest of the year. I am so excited for this entire series. What we're going to be doing

in the coming months is taking a number of topics or areas of focus, and we will be comparing and contrasting a

biblical worldview of that thing to a secular worldview of that thing. So this is going to look

a little different depending on the topic, and I'm fully aware that secular is a very generic description. And essentially, that just

means non-Christian or not religious. But as we know, there is not only one secular worldview

on anyone given thing. It's not like everyone who isn't a Christian or isn't

religious has the same view on something like God and man or justice. So we will be doing our

best to give some examples of what we will be seeing from culture, from the world, and just from

kind of the Western postmodern mind. And that's

going to look different, like I said, depending on the topic. But that's what we're doing. We're

comparing and contrasting a worldly secular understanding of the topic to a biblical and Christian

understanding of the topic. We'll be using

scripture. Seeing what the Bible actually has to say, every single guest that I've had on

has heavily used scripture and their treatment of their topic and explaining the biblical or

Christian worldview. And so I think this will be a really fruitful and helpful exercise
