The Bible tells us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made.

And if we are honest, that's not always how we feel about ourselves.

Today on Truth for Life we will consider the wonder of God's handy work and providence,

as Alistair Begg continues a study in Psalm 139 with a message he titled, God Made Me.

Psalm 139 and we read the section that begins at verse 13.

For you formed my inward parts, you knitted me together in my mother's womb.

I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Wonderful are your works.

My soul knows it very well.

My frame was not hidden from you when I was being made in secret, intricately woven

in the depths of the earth.

Your eyes saw my unformed substance.

In your book were written every one of them, the days that were formed for me.

When as yet there was none of them.

How precious to me are your thoughts, oh God, how vast is the sum of them.

If I would count them, they are more than the sand.

I awake and I am still with you.

Amen.

Father, we are glad to be able to say these things to you by way of our songs, but we recognize

that what you have said to us is of greater importance than what we say to you.

We thank you for our Bibles, we thank you for the work of the Holy Spirit, and we pray
