Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement. And I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hello my friends, I'm so happy to be with you again. I really love this podcasting. I

love interacting with you. I love the community you're listening today to at home with Sally

and friends and I just have some of the dearest friends in the world. And so today you all

know that I'm launching two books which is the craziest thing in the world. And thank you all so

much for supporting me in this and telling people about it because you're really such a loving,

helpful community to me. But today I'm going to be talking a little bit about my second newest book

and that is Only You Can Be You. What makes you different makes you great. And all of you have

written letters to us which has many letters about the book that Nathan and I wrote different,

the story of an out-of-the-box boy and the mama who loved him. Thank you for writing those

letters but it's really a spawned in me some ideas that I wanted to share with you today about

why teaching your children at this age at young ages about the profound importance of diversity

is what we're going to be talking about today. And I've thought about this a lot because sometimes

whatever culture we are in we tend to have that protective feeling of this is we are right and

our food is the best and our habits are the best and so and so forth which is very natural.

But I think that I've pondered the heart of God. What was on the heart of God that he created such

a diverse world. And so we're going to talk about that today and as many of you know in children's

books there's usually and especially in a young children's book like Only You Can Be You.
