As I consider those periods of waiting, those are the periods where I have struggled the most.

They're the periods of time where my faith has really been challenged and fallen short sometimes.

Because there are the periods where I felt like God was silent to me. But it's really hard not to

see that it was in those periods of total powerlessness for me that God was working. He was at work

in my life in the waiting as much as he was at work in the happening.

I mean, he wasn't asleep at the wheel.

He hadn't forgotten about me.

He was working for me the whole time.
