And before we go into the last couple of chapters, God basically says to Job,

Do you want to contend with me as the Almighty and Job says to God,

My hand is on my mouth.

I've spoken once.

And basically the picture we're beginning to see in Job that will come to

culminating climax and Job 42 is the reality.

The God, the Almighty is indeed righteous.

The God, the Almighty is indeed wise.

The God, the Almighty is indeed powerful and loving and good and majestic and awesome

beyond words, beyond our understanding.

And it is good for men and women who are not these things, who are not perfect,

who are not ultimately in an every way good,

the men and women who don't see all things and know all things,

who are not all wise, who are not all powerful.

It is a good thing for men and women like you and me to be silent before God,

and trust of God instead of contending with Him to humble ourselves before Him

and not to presume that we would stand in judgment of God.

How easily this can happen in any one of our lives to think that we know better than God.
